Donald Trump is furious with Israel for ”dropping a load of bombs the moment a ceasefire was agreed to, of the likes of which I’ve never seen.”
On 23 June, Trump announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire within a specified number of hours, but Israel chose to launch a powerful attack on Iran before the agreed ceasefire was due to begin. Iran then responded to Israel’s attack.
Israel’s decision to launch a powerful attack on Iran greatly angered Trump.
”As soon as we made the deal, they came out and they [Israel] dropped a load of bombs of likes I have never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen. I am not happy with Israel. You know, when I say we have 12 hours, you don’t go out in the first hour and drop everything you have on them [Iran].”
“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f**k they’re doing.”
