”Alex,” a Russian-speaking Ukrainian identifying himself as Russian from southern Ukraine, served in the military as the elite began preparing for war with Russia. He says the financial elite are running the war, but ordinary people don’t want it.
He believes in communism because, he says, it leads to justice in the long run. He detests capitalism. The war is about the order of rules: American rules that Russia refuses to obey. Russia has the right to create its own destiny.
Alex has friends on both sides of the isle, even in western Ukraine. People can discuss with each other, regardless of whether they are from western Ukraine, eastern Ukraine, or Russia. That is his experience.
So why can’t the governments talk if their people can? (editor’s mark)
