Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, an epidemiologist affiliated with the McCullough Foundation, has co-authored a series of studies and case reports over the past year asserting that components of C19 mRNA injections can persist in the body for years, contribute to multi-system illness, and are associated with elevated risks of cardiac injury and accelerated cancers.
Hulscher and collaborators, including cardiologist Peter A. McCullough, have published findings in journals such as Medical Research Archives, ESC Heart Failure, and World Journal of Experimental Medicine, as well as on the preprint server Zenodo.
Their work focuses on post-injection syndromes, autopsy data, molecular analyses of blood and tissue, and selected observational cohorts. The authors argue that these results challenge earlier assumptions that mRNA injection material degrades rapidly and produces only transient effects, and they have called for further investigation and, in some cases, market withdrawal of the products.

Persistence of V-components
A June 2026 case report co-led by Hulscher describes a 55-year-old man who received three doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech C19 injection and later developed progressive multi-organ symptoms. These included pulmonary emboli, delayed MRI-confirmed myocarditis, neurocognitive impairment, small-fiber neuropathy, autonomic dysfunction, gastrointestinal issues, and dermatologic inflammation.
Serial testing over more than 3.5 years detected injection-derived spike mRNA in circulating exosomes, free spike protein in plasma and exosomes, and a plasmid DNA element, including sequences matching the spike gene, origin of replication, and an SV40 enhancer fragment, in skin tissue.
Spike protein was also identified in endothelial cells, macrophages, and nerve fibers.
Nucleocapsid antibodies remained negative across multiple time points and laboratories, while spike-specific antibodies stayed elevated. The authors describe this as the longest reported in vivo persistence of these injection components and note associated genomic instability and transcriptomic dysregulation in the patient.
Related reports have described circulating mRNA years after injection in other individuals.
Nicolas Hulscher on Cardiac Findings
Nicolas Hulscher and co-authors have published several papers examining heart-related outcomes. A 2024 review in ESC Heart Failure analyzed autopsy cases of fatal myocarditis and concluded there was a high likelihood of a causal link to C19 injection based on timing, pathology, and independent adjudication of the cases.
Other work has documented excess cardiopulmonary arrests following rollout in King County, Washington, and proposed approaches to risk stratification for delayed cardiac arrest months or years later.
The authors cite known elevations in myocarditis rates after mRNA doses, particularly in young males, along with reports of lasting MRI abnormalities and the detection of mRNA in heart tissue at autopsy.
Nicolas Hulscher has publicly described the mRNA shots as capable of causing irreversible cardiac scarring that may contribute to sudden death long after injection.
Transcriptomic Changes and Cancer Concerns
A December 2025 study in the World Journal of Experimental Medicine, co-authored by Hulscher, used RNA sequencing on individuals who developed new adverse events or cancers after mRNA injection.
Both groups showed broad transcriptional differences compared with controls, including mitochondrial dysfunction, ribosomal and proteasome stress, systemic inflammation, and activation of the MYC oncogene.
The cancer subgroup displayed additional signs of genomic instability and epigenetic changes.Researchgate
A September 2026 Zenodo paper by John A. Catanzaro, Hulscher, and others reviews 35 proposed mechanisms by which the mRNA-lipid nanoparticle platform might accelerate malignancy in susceptible individuals.
It cites a large Korean cohort reporting higher one-year cancer risks across several sites among injected people, an Italian provincial analysis showing elevated cancer hospitalizations, case series of rapid disease progression, and U.S. ecological trends in early-onset cancers and excess cancer deaths after the peak 2021 injections.
Hulscher has characterized the platform as one of the largest carcinogenic exposures on record and highlighted a separate case in which injected plasmid sequences were detected in tumor tissue.
Additional analyses from the group have reported negative or rapidly waning protection against infection in certain datasets, coagulation and immune marker changes after boosters, and signals of excess mortality in selected populations.
Context and Scientific Response
Major public health agencies, including the CDC, WHO, and National Cancer Institute, state that extensive post-authorization surveillance and large epidemiological studies have not confirmed a causal link between authorized C19 mRNA injections and increased overall cancer rates, widespread excess mortality attributable to the injections, or the multi-year systemic persistence of functional injection material at the levels described in these case reports.
Myocarditis and pericarditis are recognized rare adverse events, primarily after the second dose in adolescent and young adult males, and are generally milder than the cardiac risks associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection itself in most published analyses.
The organized medical-industrial complex, with players such as ”independent experts” and ”fact-checking” organizations, has, as expected, criticized the findings. Some preprints associated with the group have been withdrawn or heavily disputed on politically correct so-called ”scientific” grounds.
Supporters of the work argue that the molecular findings warrant urgent re-examination of long-term safety assumptions that guided the original emergency authorizations.
Nicolas Hulscher continues to disseminate the results through the McCullough Foundation, Substack, and the social media platform X under the handle @NicHulscher.
The debate over the long-term safety profile of mRNA COVID-19 injections remains ongoing, with large-scale population data from multiple countries still serving as the primary basis for regulatory assessments.
