British extradition papers filed in Miami federal court this week describe a case against Tristan and Andrew Tate that political commentator Adam Mockler called some of the most explicit evidence yet put before a U.S. court in the brothers’ fight against return to the UK.
Mockler, reviewing the package on his show, said UK authorities allege recovered WhatsApp messages show Andrew Tate knew a girl connected to webcam work was 17 and still discussed how to keep her from going home.
In messages dated January 5, 2015, and attributed to a device seized from Tate, the girl is said to have told him her father had found out about the webcam work and wanted her back.
Tate allegedly replied that they had “a problem legally” because she was “not old enough to do this,” and later wrote that if her father brought “direct heat,” he could get into legal trouble “’cause you’re 17.”

The filing, as Mockler read it, says Andrew and Tristan then discussed a response: if authorities asked for identification, the girl could say she had none and that her father was lying to get her back. Andrew is quoted as adding, “She doesn’t look 17 at least.” Tristan allegedly replied, “Exactly.”
UK police argue those exchanges show knowledge of her age and a plan to avoid detection. Separate reporting on the same package, including by the Miami New Times and The Telegraph, describes investigators saying Tate later circulated sexual images and video of the girl in a group chat and boasted that customers paid him for her webcam work, including a claim that he told her she “had to” perform a specific act after a man offered $1,000 a day.
The papers allege possession of extreme pornography
Prosecutors say devices attributable to Andrew Tate held images, dated on or before July 18, 2015, depicting a person having intercourse with a live eel and another with a live horse.
Mockler noted the documents do not establish who is depicted. Other counts concern indecent images of a child. An officer’s description summarized in the filing, and read by Mockler, describes a video of an adult male identified as Andrew Tate on a bed, with a female child in lingerie kissing his neck, and an adult woman later joining them.
Reports on the filing say police found 168 indecent images and videos of a girl believed to have been 17, including dozens classed as Category A, the most serious UK grading, on a phone and laptop seized after a 2015 arrest in Hitchin.
Mockler also read a complainant’s account from the package in which a woman said that, during an alleged assault, Tate spoke about the mafia, buying children, and once being offered what she believed was a nine-year-old, and told a story about sitting in a Jeep in Africa that ran over a child who died, then laughing about it.
That account is an allegation in a witness statement, not a finding.
The brothers were arrested in Miami in July 2026 on the UK’s request and remain in custody while contesting extradition. Andrew faces 42 counts and Tristan 17, covering rape, assault, arranging travel for sexual exploitation, and, for Andrew, making and distributing indecent images of a child and possessing extreme pornography, according to the Crown Prosecution Service and accounts of the filings.
Bedfordshire investigators describe a “lover boy” pattern: intimate relationships used to draw women to Romania, then pressure, threats, and violence to push them into webcam work. The Tates have long denied wrongdoing. They have not been convicted on these UK counts.
Mockler used the filings to attack the Trump administration’s earlier handling of the brothers. He cited a New York Times report of a Tate message saying he had “word from the Trump admin that they’re on top of things,” and a ProPublica investigation that a White House official, Paul Ingrassia, a former lawyer for the Tates, told senior Homeland Security officials in early 2025 to return devices seized from the brothers after they arrived in Florida.
Ingrassia and his lawyer have denied that he ordered the devices returned or that any such directive came from the White House. Romanian travel restrictions on the brothers were later lifted. Mockler argued that those steps look worse in light of the extradition package and said the administration “batted for” men he called “scumbags.”
He also played clips of the brothers’ lawyer, Joseph McBride, framing the case as a political fight and appealing for intervention, and mocked online defenses that cast critics of the Tates as motivated by feminism rather than by the allegations. The filings remain prosecution evidence. Extradition is contested, and none of the charges has been proved at trial.
