American author, YouTuber, and UAP disclosure advocate David Wilcock (1973-2026) allegedly died on April 20 at age 53. A Boulder County Sheriff’s Office incident report describes a mental health crisis call pointing to Wilcock’s home near 1400 Ridge Road, Colorado.
Deputies arrived to find a man holding a weapon outside a residence; he died by self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after. The coroner’s office has not yet publicly released the decedent’s name (pending next-of-kin confirmation). The location, timing, and details have led to widespread identification with Wilcock, who lived in the area.
YouTube videos and articles discuss it as an apparent suicide, with some resurfacing older Wilcock statements where he said he was “not suicidal” or planned to keep living.

As of April 22, 2026, there is no official statement from Wilcock’s immediate family or his website (Divinecosmos.com) directly confirming or denying it
Wilcock was a prominent figure in alternative spirituality, ancient civilisations, and UAP topics, with a large online following.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna acknowledged the “tragic passing”.

Filmmaker Jay Weidner mentioned that Wilcock’s biographer, Wynn Free, died just days earlier (around April 18), adding to the unusual timing noted in some reports.
Weidner on X, :
”I produced 2 of David Wilcock’s shows at Gaia. We worked together for over 4 years. I think Wisdom Teachings is still the best show, ever at Gaia. We were like brothers, that is until he met Corey Goode. Corey’s lies ripped David’s hold on reality.”
His death has sparked speculations tying it to other recent losses among researchers.
