In what could be one of the most significant disclosures of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), NewsNation has aired an exclusive UAP recovery video from an operation involving an egg-shaped object claimed to be of non-human origin.

The video, now public for the first time, shows a helicopter lifting what appears to be a smooth, metallic, and pearly white object approximately 20 feet (6 meters) in length in what the U.S. military describes as a covert UAP object retrieval mission.

Jake Barber, a former U.S. Air Force veteran and helicopter pilot, has come forward as a whistleblower, revealing his involvement in this secretive operation. Barber, who has firsthand experience with recovering what he believes to be extraterrestrial craft, described the object as ”an egg, a white egg,” with no visible signs of propulsion or entry points.

Barber says he was part of that covert program that worked with alien spacecraft for years.

“Just visually looking at the object on the ground, you could tell that it was extraordinary and anomalous,” Barber said. “It was not human.”

“It’s inconsistent with anything I’d ever seen before. I can also tell you that the reaction by my team, we all knew we were dealing with something extraordinary.”

Barber describes the behaviour of the objects that he saw during his missions:

“Things come in and out of sight. Things disappear for a moment and reappear. Things seem to move very quickly. Things change color. They change shape.”

His testimony adds weight to the narrative that the U.S. government has been actively involved in the recovery of UAPs for decades.

The video was part of a special report on NewsNation, where investigative journalist Ross Coulthart detailed the significance of the footage. Coulthart noted the object’s resemblance to UAPs previously encountered by U.S. Navy pilots off the East Coast of the U.S. in 2015, drawing a direct line between these historical sightings and the current recovery efforts.

Ross Coulthart interviews Jake Barber (can only be viewed in the US):

Adding to the intrigue, Barber has met with staff members of Senator Marco Rubio, who has been a vocal advocate for transparency in UAP matters. Rubio’s office has been briefed on the recovery operations, signalling a potential shift towards more openness or at least acknowledgement within certain corridors of power in Washington, according to NewsNation.

Barber:

“We’re in this rare opportunity in human history where it’s very clear that we know that there are things flying in the sky that are unexplained and un-understood…”

“There was another object. One was the egg, the other is what I called an ‘eightgon.’ The eightgon was essentially a flying disc with what looked like eight delineated sections when looking down,” said Barber. “And I can tell you what it looked like from looking down because that’s primarily how I saw it. Because I’m a helicopter pilot. We did recoveries with the eightgons. There was more than one that made its way to the ground on this particular operation.”

The release of this video and Barber’s testimony come at a time when public interest in UAPs has surged, partly fueled by previous disclosures from whistleblowers like David Grusch and Lue Elizondo. This latest revelation might push the boundaries of what has been considered feasible or credible in UAP research, potentially leading to further Congressional hearings or investigations.

NewsNation is a channel that follows this subject, promising more insights and possibly more whistleblower testimonies shortly.

In 2023, NewsNation was the first television network to present an interview with Grusch. The account has led to multiple Congressional hearings.

Verification of trustworthiness

NewsNation verified Jake Barber’s background, confirming he served as an airman in the U.S. Air Force in the late 1990s, working as an aerospace mechanic. He later joined the Air Force Special Operations, specifically in ”combat control,” before transitioning to work unofficially for both the Defense Department and the intelligence community.

NewsNation interviewed three former special operations soldiers who supported Barber’s narrative to validate his credentials further.

Among his advocates is Colonel John Blitch, a multifaceted figure with a doctorate in psychology, experience as a Delta Force sniper, and command over a nuclear weapons battalion. Blitch strongly endorses Barber’s claims, asserting with certainty that the U.S. has indeed ”absolutely” recovered UAPs.
