Israel strikes Iran. Reports claim that the entire Iranian general staff, including the head of the general staff of the military and several senior Iranian nuclear scientists, were eliminated.
The reasons for the preemptive attack is the threat from Iran to destroy Israel.

Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was martyred in the Israeli regime’s attack on the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, Theran Times writes.
Dozens of civilians were killed and wounded, including children, in the streets of Tehran as a result of Israeli strikes on residential buildings in the heart of Tehran and other major cities, according to eyewitness reports.
