The White Flag Day concept was introduced in Sweden on September 10, 2024. The idea is simple: wave a white flag in a public place and claim peace is the highest form of world order.
This is how the concept of White Flag Day can be summarized. The idea of peace and peacemaking is, of course, as old as humanity, but despite that, the language of the opposite has taken control of reason in contemporary discourse.
NewsVoice recorded the event and interviewed some of those who attended.
After all, people want to live in peace. No sane person wants war. The desire for peace is multicultural, cross-cultural, and even eternal, but paradoxically, today, peace work is seen as a potential threat to world peace and national security.
That is how crazy the world has become. The concept of peace has been hijacked by madness, and the ransom is the opposite of peace, namely war, to secure peace. A famous novel about this opposite language was written in 1948, just after the end of the Second World War.
White Flag Day was introduced on September 10, and it coincided with the place and date of the opening of the Swedish Parliament. There was an idea behind it. There were climate activists, Extinction Rebellion, the Button Pushers party, the MoD party, police officers, security police, the King and Queen, a large group of MPs shielded from the people, a trade union worker, association representatives and a lone MP from the Green Party who greeted a crowd of some 100 people next to the Royal Palace.
One wonders if 10,000 people should not have come to White Flag Day as they did in 2003 when 35,000 people gathered at Norra Bantorget in Stockholm to stop the Western Alliance from starting a war against Iraq. It was about a feared war, not even in Europe.
Today, it is different. Our MPs are now dragging us into a war against Russia, where Sweden will serve as a military deployment area.
Swedish (State) Television (SVT.se) in March 2024:
”Sweden will be an important NATO deployment area. In the event of war along NATO’s eastern border, NATO will need to be able to quickly ship both material and personnel through Sweden, from Norway and the west coast to the east coast for onward transportation to Finland or the Baltic countries.” – The NATO flag has been raised – now the battle for money begins
