The TV BRICS International Media Network is promoting media cooperation between European states and BRICS+ countries, with Sweden’s NewsVoice portal, based in Stockholm, now joining the international information exchange.

Torbjorn Sassersson, Editor-in-Chief of NewsVoice, and Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, signed the agreement for this collaboration. Established in 2011, NewsVoice specializes in journalistic investigations covering public issues, healthcare, science, new technologies, and culture while embracing a multicultural ideology.

”BRICS is an intergovernmental organization consisting of ten countries—Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.”

This partnership emphasizes content exchange, joint media production, and staff training. Through TV BRICS, Sweden gains access to up-to-date information from national media sources about BRICS+ countries’ activities and can promote its perspectives within the global media landscape.

TV BRICS has a worldwide reach

Tolstikova highlighted that Sweden, via NewsVoice, marks the 26th country to engage in regular content exchange through the network.

She stressed that TV BRICS is inclusive, welcoming media outlets beyond BRICS member states and partners, including those from Argentina, Armenia, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Serbia, Tunisia, and Chile, all collaborating on equal footing.

”This media cooperation will help the people of Sweden better understand the importance of BRICS, as well as how international cooperation and trade can ensure the development of all countries in the world and how countries of the Global South and East can achieve high standards of living for their populations. Furthermore, BRICS contributes to the creation of a safer, multipolar world,” said Torbjorn Sassersson.

Additionally, TV BRICS continuously enhances its editorial expertise on international cooperation, supported by a network of approximately 500 specialists from various countries, including Europe.
