On March 2, 2026, Israel carried out more than 100 airstrikes on residential areas in southern Lebanon, violating Security Council resolution 1701, ceasefire agreements, and international law. Now Israel plans to invade.
The Israeli cabinet has approved a ground ‘invasion of Lebanon’ with 100,000 troops on the border after securing a green light from the US, according to sources.

The Israeli IDF have been bombarding southern Lebanon for months. The aim is to expand Israel into Greater Israel. President Netanyahu is openly promoting this grand plan.

Netanyahu told i24 TV news on August 12, 2025, that he feels he is on a “historic and spiritual mission,” and that he is “very” attached to the vision of the Promised Land and Greater Israel, according to The Times of Israel.
Netanyahu also presented a map of “The New Middle East” that excluded Palestine in his speech to the UN General Assembly in New York in September 2023. He showed a series of maps, including one that did not show the West Bank, East Jerusalem, or Gaza, but a Greater Israel.
Mohamad Safa, the main representative at the United Nations ECOSOC and accredited at the United Nations Office at Geneva, writes on X:
”The U.S. and Israel has killed nearly 400 people in Lebanon and nearly 800 in Iran with thousands injured in less than 72 hours.”
