Matt Couch is a 33-year-old American citizen fed up with what he describes as dysfunctional American politics that keep resembling a circus.

”Can the people running this f*cking country just shut the f*ck up for five minutes? I’m so f*cking serious. I am 33 years old. I’m trying to enjoy my life, make some money, find some happiness, and a little f*cking peace of mind. But every goddamn day, it’s something. Trump says this, Democrats say that, Republicans are fighting, everyone’s pointing fingers. Oh, we’re threatening to bomb Iran? Oil skyrockets. Time to sell. Wait a minute, a peace deal might be coming. Oil drops. Sh*t, time to buy. Never mind, peace talks aren’t going anywhere. Oil shoots right back the fuck up. Sell that shit again. Bro, what the f*ck is this?

Are we running a country or a f*cking day trading group chat? It’s the same f*cking circus over and f*cking over again. You know who’s stuck dealing with all this uncertainty? The people who just want to live their f*cking lives. I don’t give a sh*t about red or blue. I don’t want another political celebrity. I don’t want another 80-year-old arguing on television about whose fault everything f*cking is. I want them to do their f*cking jobs with my taxpaying dollars.

Work together, fix things, be transparent, and stop treating the American people like an audience for their never-ending f*cking drama. Because here’s something I think we’ve completely forgotten.

Government is supposed to work for us! We are not supposed to spend our entire lives worrying about what the government is gonna do next. I don’t need politics to entertain me. I don’t need a new national emergency every f*cking morning. I need a country where I can afford to live and actually enjoy being alive. You know what really f*cking blows my mind?

Does anybody else look at this shit and feel like we’re living in some kind of f*cking matrix? One announcement sends markets soaring, another one sends them crashing. Billions of billions of dollars moving around because someone opened their f*cking mouth, and we’re all sitting here watching it like it’s normal.

Who’s making money off these swings? I have an idea. Who’s buying? Who’s selling? Who actually knows what’s happening behind closed doors? I don’t f*cking know. But why aren’t we asking this more often? Because while we’re all down here arguing about who’s right and who’s wrong, we’re barely even paying attention to who’s benefiting from all this chaos.

We’re so f*cking obsessed with which side is winning that we’ve stopped asking whether any of this is actually making our lives better. Think about it. When did politics become a f*cking team sport? When did we, when did we start defending people we’ve never met more passionately than the people we actually live alongside? Neighbors, or coworkers, or families.

We’re all trying to make it through the same f*cking life, and somehow we’ve convinced ourselves that half of us are the enemy. Wake the f*ck up! I don’t need the left to win. I don’t need the right to win. I need the American people to stop f*cking losing.

Here’s what I want everyone watching this to understand. You can replace a president, you can replace Congress, you can replace every f*cking politician in Washington, but you cannot replace a single f*cking second of your life. Every day we spend consumed by this circus is another day we’re never getting back.

So maybe the biggest problem isn’t who’s running the country. Maybe it’s that we’ve let politics take up so much of the one life we’re supposed to be living. Because at the end of the day, they get another election. We don’t get another f*cking life.”
