Michael Shermer is one of the US’s most prominent atheists.
This project was initiated by, and is hosted by, a leading US educational website, ”Our first dialogue”, happening this month, is on materialism in science.
Next month, starting June 1, they are discussing mental action at a distance, and in July the topic is God and science. The opening statements and responses to each other are online here: Opening Statements
Rupert Sheldrake’s Telephone Listening Test test has now been launched in the US and Canada, as well as in the UK. It is designed to find out if people can tell when someone is listening to them. The test involves two people and works on telephones (mobiles or landlines). Sometimes when you are talking, the other person is muted but is still listening to you. In other trials, your partner hears music instead of hearing you. Does it feel different when you are being heard?
Sheldrake’s latest dialogue with Mark Vernon, on the sound of silence, is now online: The Sound of Silence
