The China-Europe Youth Dialogue 2025 brought together over 100 representatives in Beijing on Monday. The event, which attracted youths from 30 European countries and China, explored the crucial role the younger generation will play in shaping bilateral relations with China in the future.
Hosted by the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the conference has brought together 61 Gen-Z representatives from 30 European countries and about 60 students and young scholars from China.

The participants agreed that over the past 50 years of diplomatic relations between China and the EU, the two sides have developed friendly cooperation based on seeking common ground while respecting differences, pursuing mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
Zhao Rui, vice president at CASS:
”Young people, with their openness and inclusiveness, are the best envoys for overcoming cognitive barriers”.
Guzman Rodriguez Mateo Danilo, a university student from Norway, who came to China for the second time, told the Global Times:
”China is an amazing country and always receives us foreigners very well”.
